Step 1: Gather the Required China Business Visa (China F Visa) Items
Valid Passport
In order to receive a China business visa (China F visa), you must submit your passport containing two blank facing visa pages. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from date of entry. If you do not have blank visa pages in your passport, Swift Passport can help you obtain extra pages or help you renew your passport; contact us for more information. Please note that the last 2 pages in your passport ARE NOT counted as visa pages, those are amendment pages.

All Non-U.S. Passport holders also must complete a Supplemental Information Form
One Passport type Photo
China Business Visa Photo Requirements: Photo must have been taken in the last 6 months, be 2 inches by 2 inches in size, and have white background. Please face forward in your photo.
Option 1: email a photo to Swift Passport Services photos@swiftpassport.com using the following guidelines. Swift Passport will size and print your passport photo for a nominal fee of $15.
- Photo file needs to be attached to the email as a .jpeg file. Other file formats cannot be properly formatted
- Have someone else take the picture of you; please do not send pictures you take of yourself
- Please do not attempt to resize or format the photo in any way
Option 2: Obtain 1 passport photo from a passport photo service (Walgreens, CVS, FedEx, etc.).
Letter of Invitation
If the China business visa (China F visa) applicant is a U.S. Passport holder we can often obtain your visa without an invitation, but it is advised that one is included.
A letter from the company which you are conducting business with in China on company letterhead. Must be signed by the management in charge of the area that the applicant intends to be in contact with, informing:
- Job position and job description of the contact person in China
- Assignment description and information about the end-purpose of the intended activities in China (sales, purchases, coordination, auditing, etc.);
- Date(s) and place(s) of the meetings and information on periodicity, average length and assignment description of future trips, if any
- Financial responsibility for the trip, if applicable
- Company Letter of Intent (sample attached)
- This letter should be written on company letterhead
- Name and Title of the visa applicant must be included
- Provide a detailed description of the business which will be performed in China including a detailed timeline

- Provide a detailed description of the business which will be conducted in China, including a detailed timeline.

China Business Visa (F Visa) Requirements for Non-U.S Citizens and Children
The Chinese consulate only issues single or double entry visas to non U.S. citizens. All non U.S. Passport holders will only receive a two month visa. Multiple entry visas are not available for non U.S. citizens. U.S. B-1, B-2 visitor visa holders cannot apply for a China visa in the U.S. Non U.S. Citizens should include a copy of the US Alien Resident Card and/or a valid visa. Additional requirements for applicants born in China, Taiwan, or Hong Kong: Name written in Chinese characters, copy of a previously issued Chinese visa or copy of the information page from your Chinese, Taiwanese, or Hong Kong passport. When applying for a child with Chinese parents, the parents must provide a copy of the child's birth certificate, a copy of the parents' Chinese passports and proof of parents' status in the United States. French citizens should contact us before sending us documents. All minors should include a copy of their birth certificate.

There are 3 fees associated with the expedited China business visa (F visa) service that can be paid with all major credit cards or a money order
- Swift Passport Service Fee: 5-6 day processing ($55), 3 day processing ($75), 1 day processing ($125)
- China Consulate Fee (must be a postal money order made out to China Consulate): 5-6 day processing ($140), 3 day processing ($160), 1 day processing ($170). Swift Passport will obtain a postal money order for you upon request for $5. Click here to see fees for non US citizens
