Below are the directions for obtaining a Brazil Tourist Visa through Swift Passport Services expedited Brazil Visa processing service.
Step 1: Gather the Required Brazil tourist Visa Items
Valid Passport
Submit your passport containing two blank facing visa pages. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from date of entry. If you do not have blank visa pages in your passport, Swift Passport can help you obtain extra visa pages or help you renew your passport; contact us for more information. Please note that the last 2 pages in your passport ARE NOT counted as visa pages, those are amendment pages.
Completed Brazil Tourist Visa Request Form
Click on the following link https://scedv.serpro.gov.br/frscedv/index.jsp to fill out the online request form. When you access the above site, you may get the message "untrusted connection." This is because the security certificate was issued by a Brazilian chain and is not recognized by most browsers. Click on "I understand the risk" and "Add an Exception," wait a little bit and then click on "Confirm security exception." You will be redirected to the visa request home page. If this does not work, click on "Continue to this website (not recommended)," and you will be redirected to the brazil tourist visa request home page. Once you have filled out all of the fields, you can print a "receipt" like form that will have bar codes on it, and the emblem of Brazil at the top. Print this page and sign your name inside the rectangle at the bottom of the page (not below the rectangle).
One Passport type Photo
Photo Requirements: Photos for your Brazil tourist visa must have been taken in the last 6 months, be 2 inches by 2 inches in size, and have white background. Please face forward in your photo.
Option 1: email a photo to Swift Passport Services photos@swiftpassport.com using the following guidelines. Swift Passport will size and print your passport photos for a nominal fee of $15.
- Photo file needs to be attached to the email as a .jpeg file. Other file formats cannot be properly formatted
- Have someone else take the picture of you; please do not send pictures you take of yourself.
- Please do not attempt to resize or format the photo in any way
Option 2: Obtain 1 passport photo from a passport photo service (Walgreens, CVS, FedEx, etc.).
Proof of Residence
A copy of your driver's license or state ID. If you do not have ID, a utility bill with your name and address can be used. Cable and cell phone bills are not accepted.
Letter of Authorization
Print and sign the Letter of Authorization.
Proof of Travel
Copy of your round trip ticket to Brazil, or itinerary from an air carrier or travel agent showing flight information and dates of departure to and from Brazil.
Special Brazil Tourist Visa Requirements for Minors
Brazil tourist visa requirements vary from consulate to consulate for minors. All of the below may not be required, check with us for more details, or just provide ALL of the following and be over-prepared.
- Notarized copy of birth certificate (not original), showing both parents' names.
- 3 photos total are required (not 1 as mentioned above)
- Travel Authorization for Minors Form (Notarized). If both parents are not traveling to Brazil with the minor, this form needs to be signed and notarized by the non-travelling parent. We recommend notarizing 2, and keeping one with you while traveling. If neither parent is traveling, both parents must submit a signed and notarized authorization form. If one parent is deceased or does not have custody, a letter explaining the situation should be submitted.
- The application form should be signed by both parents (inside the rectangle) and notarized.
Special Brazil Tourist Visa Requirements for Non-US citizens
A copy of the US Alien Resident Card for foreign residents and/or a valid visa, or document to return from Brazil to the US or other country
Payment for Expedited Brazil Tourist Visa Service
There are 3 fees associated with expedited Brazil tourist visa service that can be paid with all major credit cards or a money order
- Swift Passport Service Fee: $75 for Normal Processing (Time Varies between Consulates)
- $150 for 7 Business Day Processing
- $275 for 5 Business Day Processing
- $325 for any attempt to process faster than 5 Days
- Brazil Consulate Fee (must be a postal money order): $160. Swift Passport will obtain a postal money order for you upon request for $5.

Step 2: Submit Your Order

Step 3: Ship all Brazil Tourist Visa Application Materials to Swift Passport Services
