Our service and website is designed to provide you with all of the tools you need for our passport and visa specialists to execute a successful and timely service.
In the unlikely event that SPS is at fault for not returning your completed passport or visa to you by the date defined by the service you choose, SPS will refund you accordingly. If a delay is caused by you, the applicant, or by circumstances beyond our control a refund will not be awarded. More than 96% of our clients receive their travel documents on or before the agreed deadline defined by the service they purchase. The 4% or less that are delayed in some way are almost always delayed due to applicant error and are completely preventable! Please make sure to follow our instructions and to contact us with any questions that you have prior to sending us your application materials so that we have everything we need to execute your service as promised. We are committed to making this as streamlined and easy as possible for each of our clients and are a phone call away if you have questions or concerns about your service.
Swift Passport cannot accept responsibility for delays in or loss of any document(s) by any party not directly under our control, including Consulates, Embassies, Passport Offices, or delivery-services involved in handling documents (UPS, FedEx, USPS, etc.).
SPS may not be able to honor time agreements if a passport application is suspended by the Passport Agency. Here are some common examples of circumstances in which you may not be eligible for a passport or your passport application may be suspended:
- Applicant owes child support in excess of $2,000.00
- Applicant is on probation which restricts international travel
- Criminal warrants prohibiting travel outside the U.S.
- Applicant owes the government a repatriation loan (you borrowed money overseas and have not paid it back)
- Applicant had insufficient funds to cover a check written to the Department of State for a previous passport.
- Additional documentation is requested by the Department of State. This is an exception to the normal processing of the application and is at the discretion of the Passport Agency. It is typically requested to further clarify the identity of the applicant.
SPS may not be able to honor a guarantee if a passport or visa application arrives to our office late. All 1 day passport services and same day visa services require that we receive your application by 8:30 am and that you use FedEx first overnight. Most of our other services require that you send your materials priority overnight in order for us to submit your application the day we receive it. Failure to use the appropriate shipping method may cause delays out of our control. Swift Passport can email you an airbill filled out appropriately to avoid this problem upon request.
