Before You Begin:
- The Zambia tourist and business visa are usually valid for 3 years, for single or double entries from date the visa is issued, for a stay not to exceed a total of 90 days for tourist visa and a stay not to exceed 30 days for a business visa.
- It is advised that the applicant allow at least 1 month for Multiple entry visas to be approved
Step 1: Gather the items listed below
Valid Passport
Submit your signed passport containing two blank facing visa pages. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from date of entry. If you do not have blank visa pages in your passport, Swift Passport can help you obtain extra pages or help you renew your passport; contact us for more information. Please note that the last 2 pages in your passport ARE NOT counted as visa pages, those are amendment pages.

Applicant must include a photocopy of the vital information page of passport

Three Passport Type Photos
Photo Requirements: Photos must have been taken in the last 6 months, be 2 inches by 2 inches in size, and have white background. Please face forward in your photo.
Option 1: email a photo to Swift Passport Services orders@swiftpassport.com using the following guidelines. Swift Passport will size and print your passport photos for a nominal fee of $15.
- Photo file needs to be attached to the email as a .jpeg file. Other file formats cannot be properly formatted
- Have someone else take the picture of you; please do not send pictures you take of yourself.
- Please do not attempt to resize or format the photo in any way
Option 2: Obtain 1 passport photo from a passport photo service (Walgreens, CVS, FedEx, etc.).
Vaccination Record
- International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever must be included if applicant is arriving to Zambia within 5 days from an infected area
- Anti-Malaria vaccination is strongly recommended
Letter of Invitation from Host in Zambia
If visiting family, friends or business contacts; a letter describing the connection to the applicant and the purpose of travel must be included. The letter must also specify applicant's name, the length & place of stay, and contact information of host.

Proof of Departure
Applicant must provide proof of round-trip airline ticket or itinerary showing entry and exit from Yemen. Can be from airline or travel agent. Additional Requirements for Business Visa
Company Letter of Intent (sample attached)
Letter should be typed on company letterhead and addressed to the Embassy of Zambia, Visa Section, Washington D.C.
- Clearly affirm the nature of business in Zambia
- Name, address, and position of the contact in Zambia must be included
- Company assurance of financial accountability for the applicant, and guarantee of return transportation to the USA
- Letter needs to be signed by an representative of the company other than the applicant
Additional Requirements for Non-U.S. Passport Holders
All West African passport holders and countries listed below must first obtain visa approval explicitly from Lusaka (Capital of Zambia), and follow the additional steps below:

- The application must be submitted at least 1 month before date of travel.
- Send all of the required documents to The Chief Immigration Officer and send via email: immighq@zamnet.zm ; or fax to: 260-211-254393
- A visa approval will be sent to the Embassy in Washington D.C. Be sure to follow up with the embassy at least 2 weeks after you submit your application
- Once approval is confirmed, contact Swift Passport

There are 3 fees associated with this service that can be paid with all major credit cards or a money order

- Zambia Embassy Fee (must be a postal money order made out to Embassy of the Republic of Zambia):

Step 2: Submit Your Order

Step 3: Ship all Application Materials to Swift Passport Services
We highly recommend that you use FedEx to ship your application materials, as they are the most reliable shipping service and will provide you with accurate tracking information. Please ship your application materials to our Chicago location unless you have discussed an alternate location with our passport and visa specialists. Swift Passport Services can email you a pre-paid FedEx airbill to use for inbound shipping upon request. Please call or email us if you would like us to email you a pre-paid airbill. Applications will be submitted the day they are received if they are sent PRIORITY overnight.
