Profits and revenue for this company in 2015 hit 227.83 billion yuan and 570.47 billion yuan, which works out to $34.1 billion in profits and $85.5 billion in revenue.

    Agricultural Bank of China

    Often called AgBank, Agricultural Bank of China is the third most profitable company in the country. Headquartered in Beijing, the bank recorded 2015 profits of 179.46 billion yuan, or $26.8 billion. Total revenue for that same year was 520.86 billion yuan, or $78 billion.

    Bank of China

    Bank of China gets credit as being the oldest bank in mainland China that’s still in existence. It was founded in 1912 and remains headquartered in Beijing. Profits for 2015 hit 169.6 billion yuan while revenue weighed in at 456.33 billion yuan. In U.S. dollars, profits were $25.4 billion and revenue $68.2 billion.
