Armenian Embassy Information
The Republic of Armenia is landlocked and exists in the South Caucasus region of Eurasia. It is bordered by Turkey, Georgia, the independent Republic of Artsakh and Azerbaijan, and Iran. Armenia was the first state globally to adopt Christianity as the official religion between the late 3rd and early 4th century AD. Currently, it is a unitary, multi-party, democratic nation-state. The country encompasses 1,484 square miles and has a population of roughly 2,951,745.
