Chile Embassy Information

Chile is located in South America and runs along the Andes and the Pacific Ocean. It borders Peru, Bolivia, Argentina, and the Drake Passage. Chile also claims several territories, including Easter Island, Salas y Gómez, Desventuradas, and the Pacific islands of Juan Fernández. Chile has many minerals, including lithium and copper, which can be found in the Atacama Desert in the north. In the south, Chile has many grazing lands and forests as well as several volcanoes and lakes. The country’s motto is “By Right or Might.” The country of Chile is one of South America’s most prosperous nations, boasting both economic and social stability alongside a high-income economy.
