For US passport holders, no visa is required for Ecuador for stays up to 90 days per calendar year. You must have a passport valid 6 months past your intended return date, and have at least 1 blank visa page. Ecuadorian immigration officials also sometimes request evidence of return or onward travel, such as an airline ticket.

You will need to submit photos for your Ecuador visa application. We strongly suggest you take a look at our photo guidelines to ensure your photo is accepted.
Supporting Documentation
You may need to provide supporting documents such as a flight itinerary for tourism, a letter or invitation for business, or a program acceptance letter for students.

Non US Passport Holder Travel Requirements - Visa Required
If you have a passport from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Kenya, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, China, or Somolia, you will need a travel visa. China citizens living in the U.S. must be green card holders in order to acquire a visa waiver prior to their trip to Ecuador; otherwise, a visa must be obtained at the corresponding consulate.
