Visas are not required for stays of 90 days or less for tourism or business travel. Guatemalan Immigration can grant 90 day extension. There is a USD$1.30/day fine for overstay. Make sure you have at least 1 blank visa page, and your passport must be valid for the entire time you are there, you should not let it expire while you are there. For more details and to check for any recent travel requirement changes, please refer to the State Department website.
Non US Passport Holder Travel Requirements
Your nationality, purpose of visit, length of visit, and number of desired entries effect whether or not you need a visa to this country. Swift does not store all possible combinations of passport and visa requirements, but we are happy to research whether or not you need a visa and what the requirements are if you do need a visa. We do this by visiting a consulate website, going to the actual consulate, or calling the consulate for more information. If you would like us to research visa requirements for you, please fill out the Research Request Form, and a Swift representative will contact you within 24-48 hours with an answer to your inquiry. If at all possible, we will get back to you in the same day. Research requests are $15/request.
