China Visa Exemptions
Individuals who do not meet the conditions for visa exemption must obtain the appropriate visa prior to their entry into China.
Note:Â Nationals of the countries listed below can, with ordinary passports, enter China visa-free for purposes of business, tourism, visits to relatives and friends, exchange visits, and transit, provided that their stay periods will not exceed 30 days. The duration of stay shall be calculated from 00:00 on the day following the day of entry.

From June 1, 2025 to May 31, 2026, holders of ordinary passports from Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru, and Uruguay shall be eligible for visa-free entry into China for a stay of up to 30 days, when traveling for purposes of business, tourism, family visits, cultural exchanges, or transit.
