  • Hot Travel Destinations For Spring and Summer of 2021

Year after year, eager travelers make preparations for their upcoming spring and summer trips. Hundreds of destinations circle through their minds as they try to decide which spot will make their vacation worth wild. Some travel destinations are better suited for relaxing, others for adventure, and then there are those few rare spots that contain both tranquility and thrill. No matter what you’re looking to do on your trip, there are plenty of places out there that will fit your needs.

If you’re looking to start planning your next getaway but aren’t quite sure where to go just yet, here are some of the hot travel destinations for spring and summer of 2021:

    Sanibel Island, Florida

Sanibel Island is one of Florida’s hidden gems. This hot spot is full of white sand beaches and breathtaking blue ocean waters. If you’re more of an active traveler, you can try out parasailing, biking along the shore, or paddleboarding. If you’re someone who’s looking to relax, consider spending your days laying out by the water, sampling some of the delicious local cuisine (our personal favorites are anything with seafood), or taking a leisurely walk throughout the town. No matter what you’re looking to do while in Sanibel Island, one thing is for sure – you’re never going to want to leave.

    Hilton Head Island, South Carolina

Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, is a vacation spot you won’t want to miss. This destination was rated as the best U.S. Island of 2020 by Conde Nast Traveler, and for good reason. Take some time out to search for unique finds at local stores, walk up and down miles of beaches, play a round at a world-class golf course, or spend the day at the famous Coligny Beach Park. Hilton Head Island is a fan favorite year after year for families, groups, and couples.

    Gatlinburg, Tennessee

If you’re looking for a vacation destination that’s perfect for the whole family, look no further than Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Surrounded by the Smokey Mountains, this quaint town has something for everyone. We recommend renting a cabin or booking a hotel with a view of the mountains so that you can wake up feeling refreshed and connected to nature every day. As far as activities go, why not try taking a peaceful hike through the Smokey Mountains National Park, buy a unique souvenir at one of the many local shops, walk the Gatlinburg SkyBridge, and for the adults, sample some moonshine at a distillery.

    Portland, Maine

Portland, Maine, is the place to be during the spring and summer, especially if you’re someone who is looking to sample some delicious food. This coastal town is known for its vast fishing industry, mouthwatering seafood dishes, and historic charm. While here, you’re going to want to sample one of Maine’s world-famous lobster rolls, gaze at unique artwork at the Portland Museum of Art, explore all of what Old Port has to offer, or spend the day at the Casco Bay Islands.

    Cancun, Mexico

Cancun, Mexico, is considered one of the world’s greatest tourist destinations due to its spectacular ocean blue waters, gorgeous white sands, and warm weather year-round. Tourists flock to Cancun to enjoy adventure, relaxation, and everything in between. Some of our favorite activities to try here include scuba diving at the Cancun Underwater Museum, exploring the Playa Norte beach, or testing the nightlife around the city.

    Big Sur, California

Big Sur, California, is surrounded by incredible nature no matter where you look. Big Sur makes up a long stretch of California’s central coast and is full of hiking trails, campgrounds, magnificent mountains, and miles of picturesque coastlines. Some popular attractions to visit while here include Pfeiffer Beach, Point Lobos State Natural Reserve, Limekiln State Park, and McWay Falls (a stunning 80-foot waterfall). Big Sur is one of our favorite west coast vacation destinations, and we’re confident that you’re going to fall in love with it too.

    New York City, New York

Of course, the city that never sleeps had to make our list. The Big Apple has a never-ending list of activities to try and many famous landmarks to visit. In 2019, this hot spot had over 66 million visitors trying to taste what the city has to offer and is one of the world’s most popular destinations. Whether you’re looking to take a walk through Central Park, visit the Empire State building, sample some of the city’s vast cuisine, or stop to take photos in the middle of Times Square – there’s no shortage of things to do and see while in New York City.

Whether you’re looking to plan a vacation on the east coast, west coast, or anywhere in between, we hope you have a safe and memorable trip. There are so many places to explore, and each destination has something extraordinary to offer. If you have any questions about obtaining a passport or visa, please feel free to contact our team.
