    Albanian Riviera

    Tirana

    You will find plenty of history and stunning architecture in Albania’s capital city, Tirana. Some things that you can do while spending the day in Tirana is take a stroll through the city, sample the local cuisine (you HAVE to try byrek), explore the Piramida, and take in the unique scenery and beauty around you. There’s no shortage of things to do in see in the capital of Albania!

    Llogara Pass

    Get ready for the ride of a lifetime on the Llogara Pass. This mountain pass is one of the most beautiful drives you can take in all of Europe. You will drive up, down, and around the mountain while gazing at some stunning views around you. While driving on the Llogara Pass, you can expect to reach elevations over 3,300 feet, so if you’re afraid of heights, don’t look down!

    Ksamil Islands

    Vlore

    Gjirokaster

    This magnificent city is located in the northwestern part of Albania. Whether you’re looking to do some sightseeing or dive into the city’s culture, there’s plenty for you to do while in Shkoder.     Albania COVID Travel Requirements

    If you’re looking to travel to Albania, there are some travel requirements due to COVID that you’ll want to be aware of.

    • To Enter Albania:
      • You will need to provide a negative COVID test up to 72 hours before your flight.
      • You do not need to be vaccinated against COVID to enter Albania.
      • Quarantine is not required on arrival.
    • To Enter the U.S. From Albania:
      • You must provide proof of a negative COVID test up to 24 hours before your flight.
      • If you’re a U.S. citizen, you do not need to be vaccinated against COVID to enter the United States.
      • Quarantine is not required on arrival.

    Do I Need a Passport to Visit Albania?

    If you plan on visiting Albania, you will need to obtain a passport before leaving for your trip. Please note that your passport must be valid for at least three months from your date of entry into Albania.
