  • Travel Destinations That Have Eased Up on COVID Restrictions

Numerous destinations across the globe put restrictions in place due to COVID. This caused travelers to rethink their travel plans, as they didn’t know if they’d be able to meet the required rules and regulations in their destination country. Fortunately, many travel destinations have eased up on COVID restrictions, allowing tourists to visit again without hesitation. From Australia to Denmark and more – here are some travel destinations that have eased up on COVID restrictions:

    Australia

Australia had strict travel rules and restrictions in place since the start of the pandemic. This has made it very difficult for tourists to enter for any reason, and for a while, it was unclear when Australia would open back up. Thankfully, on July 6, 2022, Australia decided to drop many restrictions and reopen its doors to travelers again. Those visiting no longer need to show proof of vaccination and no longer need to show proof of a negative COVID test.

    Denmark

The next destination that has eased up on COVID restrictions is Denmark. The country decided to drop all of its COVID-related rules and regulations back in March, which is excellent news for anyone looking to enter the country. Regardless of your vaccination status, you can now enter Denmark without worry.

    Ireland

A destination that many travelers missed visiting during COVID is Ireland. Previously, travelers had to show proof of vaccination, proof of a negative COVID test, and even had to fill out a passenger locator form. Thankfully, as of March 6, 2022, travelers can enter the country without following any COVID-related rules and regulations.

    The British Virgin Islands

Another destination that’s dropped its COVID travel restrictions is The British Virgin Islands. Previously, those entering needed to present a negative COVID test within 48 hours of arrival. Thankfully, this is no longer required! Starting on July 15, 2022, The British Virgin Islands dropped its entry requirements, allowing tourists to enter without worry.

    Italy

Italy is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world. So, you can only imagine how happy travelers were to hear that all of Italy’s travel restrictions had been dropped on June 1, 2022. Previously, travelers had to show proof of vaccination and sometimes even had to quarantine on arrival. Now, you can enter the country without having to do either.

    Norway

One country that dropped its entry requirements earlier this year is Norway. Previously, tourists had to follow protocols such as providing a negative COVID test before entering. The country decided to eliminate all of its COVID-related rules and restrictions in February, making it a prime tourist destination once again.

    South Africa

South Africa was another country that put numerous travel restrictions in place due to COVID. Anyone looking to travel to this destination needed to show proof of vaccination, and proof of a negative COVID test, amongst other requirements on arrival. Fortunately, this country decided to drop all of its restrictions in June, making it easier for people to enter the country.
